They were made to give information or save information so it could be properly presented, but now they are used for literally everything from social, gaming, professional writing, being organized, presenting and learning. Its not always about going online and googling things that "you" need help in. Everyone uses it, or tries to. The question is how can it be helpful to me, or to the society.
